I wouldn’t even HAVE to win the lottery to do a lot of shopping from THESE favourites.
Buying from new Etsy sellers is great, but what I really love is finding a seller whose product is so excellent that I know I will be buying form them again and again. And you can’t know who these people are until you receive their product, so the ones mentioned here are sellers whose products I own. What’s so great is, my two favourites are not only wonderful, but so affordable.
First, because it was so unexpected, is You Stink Soap. Why unexpected? Well, I don’t use soap. Now, now, don’t freak out! I don’t use BAR soap, certainly not in the shower. I use liquid soap/shower gel…stuff with moisturizers in it, because my skin is wildly sensitive and easily thrown out of balance. Also, I find most homemade soap smells vaguely the same, kind of like everything made at Tim Horton’s has that distinctive Tim Horton’s smell, the scent of the store itself. (I still don’t know how they manage it.)
But this stuff…O.O So good. The scents are INCREDIBLE. So good that I absolutely must shop there more, this time for myself (I bought a pack of assorted soap as a gift.) I won’t use the soap for the reasons above but I sure hope they make shower soaps some day. If not, there are plenty of products I am still dying to buy, and will either this month or next, I think. Take a look, here’s what I want…I just have to decide which scents to purchase them in!
Yuzu Vegetarian Deodorant, because I loooove the smell of grapefruit.
Stinky Hippie solid perfume, because I’ve sniffed the Stinky Hippie soap and it smells much like a freshly-cut lawn. Wonderful! (I actually want all six of their solid perfumes.)
Aaaand…a trio of lip glosses. Because they have 15 flavoured scents and I don’t think I could possibly choose less than three.

And another seller from whom I have ordered twice already is Pretty In Posies, who makes the cutest, perkiest, trendiest, most adorable little ‘clippies’ ever, all in felt, very different from most other clippies I’ve seen and purchased on Etsy. Clippies are my ideal hair ornament in many ways, they suit me brilliantly, and I can’t get enough of them. And these just made my eyes bug out when I got them. They looked just like their pictures, but so much better! And when I put them on, I looked instantly twice as cute as without the clippie (clippy?). She also has been doing a few that are a little more sophisticated than cute, and I hope she continues to develop other styles besides ‘cute’, as that is hard to come by in the clippie world, and I like variety. But even if she never does, these are still awesome…everyone in the house had to grab and admire them when I got them…even my father, who sat smiling at them for a whole minute when I handed them over. (He demanded to see. Not joking!) I do prefer the slightly larger ones on alligator clips to the tiiiiny ones (oh SO cute) on snap clips, but they’re all button-cute once in your hair.
Teeny Tiny snap in clips (smaller than a quarter in length):

Slightly larger snap clips:
And my preferred size/style, alligator clips:
I’ve also made other purchases, one in particular (my pop-can necklace and bottlecap earrings) that I especially love and really enjoy wearing, but that can wait for later. For now, these are the two that were well above my expectations on how they were in the flesh.

I have to check out that too! The “You Stink Soap” LOL! Love the name, too cute and that’s awesome about the veggie deodorant. Do you find it does the job? And those teeny tiny clips are adorable!! I love little clips, too cute and so versatile. Going to have to jet over to Etsy this afternoon to look around these shops…thanks for posting! ![]()
