I’ve got a case of the ‘teeny-tinies’

Tinies isn’t a word, is it?  Tinys?  No.

Well, whatever the words are, I’ve been on a ‘teeny’ kick lately, wanting to make just tiny, dainty things.  Look at the earrings I just made this morning…they aren’t bigger than about half an inch in any direction  as far as the cluster itself goes.

I think they’re cute, and I’m thinking I might try doing tiny clusters like this at the end of some bone hairsticks, for people who like really  subtle decoration, something very pretty when you look at it, but not at all flashy.  Vaguely classic.  Ooh, yes, I could do something tiny like this, then add just a bit of wire down the length of a wooden stick (which are long enough to sacrifice some of the length to decoration that will eat up the ‘usable’ length).  Hmm, I wonder how I could do that.

Oh, I think I have an idea.  You’ll just have to tune in in a day or two to see if my idea was viable or not. :)

Aww…I think those are lovely! Like tiny bits of jeweled fruit. They look so cheerful.

Thanks :) I think they’re kinda adorable, even though the colours are reversed. (Green ‘berries’ and purple leaves.)

Now I just have to try the stick idea I have in mind…

They are cute. I think they’d be really nice with a slinky dress. Just a small touch to add, you know?

I love really simple/small bits of jewellery sometimes…they just seem so elegant, often a lot more elegant than very large, showy, expensive pieces. Sometimes a whisper draws more attention than a whole bunch of shouting. :)

I don’t know how to describe those… they’re kind of like a tiny cute little bug type person that’s gone a bit happy spazzy!

I think those earrings look like I would, if I was in a cute spastical little mood *and I was a teeny tiny little bug person*… LOL

For some reason, I just really really really like those! They’re just so *CUTE* *that’s not even enough of a word, really.

How do you jazzy and spazzify cute? If you could do that, then that would be it!

*love*

You think they’re a spazzy cute? Lol, you are just *unique*, Elle. :) They just look plain cute, to me. I love their dolly little size.

I like the round beads and would love to see 6-8 of them bunched together on one earring.

The green colors look beautiful together, but I’m not sure I like the purple thrown in there. Just my personal preference.

That’s actually what I did first, with the ‘ice wine’ earrings mentioned in another entry…two sizes of frosted blue beads with caps. It’s more than six or eight beads in all, though…the whole cluster is only an inch or so in size in any case. It looks like a bunch of blue and silver grapes. It’s very cute, but it takes FOREVER so they’d have to be more expensive than the ones above and I’m not sure what price range people like to pay, in earrings. Stringing each bead separately and making the loop and working it through the chain and closing the loop again for every bead just takes…well, like I said. Forever :) But it IS a very cute technique, very useful.

I love purple and green together. :)

Love these! Although they remind me more of bush berries than fruit clusters. :) They’d be perfect with formal hair and make-up too, for just a touch of class!
