New stuff!

I’m kind of happy with myself today.  I wasn’t feeling like making hairsticks…I get tired of them once in a while…so I made a pair of ear-wraps and took a very old pansy I sewed together out of ribbon and turned THAT into an alligator-clip barrette.  It’s a big thing, about 3.5 inches at it’s largest point, but SO cute.  Unfortunately I couldn’t get a good picture of either, as my mannequin has rigid ears that you can’t mold the wrap around nicely, and it’s hard to take a picture of something in your own hair.  But we’ll make do with what pictures I DID get.  Here!

Now I’m going to make some earrings.  I need to remember this when I get stressed out, turning out stick after stick…there are other jobs to do as well!
