I haven’t any practise at winning contests…
…therefore I am not quite sure how to go about it when I accidentally DO win one. Love2Sparkle on Etsy has a monthly draw of people who mark her as a favourite and she sends the person she draws a free pair of clips. Want to know what her clips look like? Well, I am always partial to flower ‘clippies’, like these:
Yes, I know that they are intended, for the most part, for children. But I wear them myself all the time and they really suit me. Is that sad? I blame my eye shape…my eyes are very round, which makes me look younger than I am, and I’m not even that old, yet.
I don’t know what she is going to send, but I named my colour choices (orange or purple) and I guess I’ll see in two weeks or so when the clippies arrive. You can buy the clippies (and other items) at Love2Sparkle’s Etsy site, or you can go to her own website.
I will be uploading one pair of strand sticks and two pairs of earrings to my own Etsy website today, and I need to get to work on a pair of shorties. I hate making shorties, usually, they’re so much trouble…I’ll have to charge more for the sheer stress…but I don’t want to gyp short-haired folks out of being able to wear hairsticks. Or things that LOOK like hairsticks once they are inserted, at least, and that’s what really matters when it comes to hairsticks for super short (not long enough to put in a ponytail but perhaps long enough to put in pigtails) hair.

I’ve never won anything before…so weird! And clippies, too…I LOVE clippies! I’d love to see yours in, too, I was sure they’d look good, you usually curl your hair. Did you see the user picture of me with the curly hair in profile? I have clippies in in that picture and they just looked *perfect*. Curls and clippies are a match made in heaven.
I can always use more faves!
